Well, friends, we sailed! Borders were almost completely closed, and it became difficult to travel abroad. Personally, I take this turn of the plot calmly and even with a bit of joy. After all, this is a great chance for all travel lovers who have previously bypassed their native open spaces to make sure that we have enough beauty too. And many of them are so close and accessible that it is shameless to deprive them of attention. Let's see where you can go on vacation in Russia in April 2021.
Sochi
Well, let's start with the simplest and most popular. The Black Sea is nice, warm and comfortable. In April, you can safely go on vacation to Sochi or to another resort in the Krasnodar Territory. Yes, and it will be good for health - the sea air is always beneficial, especially when viruses and other ailments are walking around. Even a couple of days at sea or in the mountains (Krasnaya Polyana is an hour's drive away) will be an excellent reboot and relaxation for you. It's too early to swim, but these are trifles. In the south, it is good in the south: there are almost no tourists, it is quiet, calm and inexpensive - prices are two times lower than in summer. So you can see beautiful places without crowds of people, and relax in a good hotel for little money.
Visit the Sochi Arboretum, Riviera Park, a monkey farm, a trout farm, or take a ride to the waterfalls. At the end of April, land excursions can already be supplemented with boat trips. If the weather is not conducive to a long stay in the air, go to the museum, stroll through the malls or just sit in a cafe, enjoying delicious food and views of the sea.

Crimea
I love Crimea more than Krasnodar resorts. I do not know why. Maybe because it's not so pop. In spring, this region is especially good, and only at this time can you see the Crimea green. Boat trips begin (you can see dolphins), and all the attractions are still resting from tourists, so you can easily be almost the only visitor. The buzz!

Dombay
I love the North Caucasus! During my auto expeditions, I traveled through all the republics and fell in love with each one with all my heart. But Dombay is a particularly beautiful place, perhaps even cooler than Elbrus. The mountains there are majestic, sharp, severe. Anyone who appreciates the beauty of nature should visit this place. And I am already silent about the Caucasian cuisine, cozy guest houses and crystal clear air that will allow you to admire the starry sky in all its glory.
I advise you to come to Dombay on weekdays, because every weekend alcohol tourists from nearby regions flock here. The limit of their dreams is a barbecue, a bathhouse and drunken ora until nightfall. A real rabble. But when all these goblins leave, Dombai blossoms and becomes the coziest place.
In April, you can still ski on the Dombai ski slopes, and there will be practically no people. Even if you are not a lover of skiing and snowboarding, then you definitely need to climb to the very top on the lift - there you will find simply crazy beauty views. Khibiny
Where to go in April 2021 in Russia if you still want to go downhill skiing? You can go to the Khibiny - low mountains on the Kola Peninsula. Most of the time they are snowy, and you can ride on their slopes until the beginning of summer. Ski slopes await you in Kirovsk, Murmansk region. The trails here are gentle and safe, the prices for vacations are low, and it is convenient to get there both by plane and by train.
In addition to skiing, you will find other entertainment here. Go ice fishing, see the unique flora in the Polar-Alpine Botanical Garden, visit the Snow Village, built entirely of ice and snow, or the Museum and Exhibition Center with a unique collection of minerals that are so rich in the Kola Peninsula.
Pyatigorsk
Resorts of the Caucasian Mineral Waters are one of the best places to relax in April. Here it is already real spring, the weather is sunny and mostly dry.
For example, Pyatigorsk. There are about fifty mineral springs here, each with a unique composition and temperature, which makes it possible to alleviate almost any disease. Who knows, maybe the nasty coronavirus will be bent under the influence of local healing waters. Be that as it may, it is worth going to Pyatigorsk or to neighboring resorts. Here you will find a unique atmosphere: water society, drinking fountains with narzan, Lermontov places and the charming "Proval".
