Plavitsa carries its clear waters through the open area through the Lipetsk, Tambov and Voronezh regions.

Again
It starts near the small village of Kharlamovka. It is a tributary of the Don. The Lomovechin and Kobylya Snova rivers are considered to be large tributaries of the Snova. Several years ago, a large technical hydraulic structure was repaired on the river, after which the waters of Snova became much cleaner, and spring floods ceased to flood settlements on its banks.

The source of the river is located near the village of Krasny Lev-Tolstovsky district of the region. The representatives of the river ichthyofauna are bream, silver bream, roach, perch.
